National Center for Youth Law
The National Center for Youth Law (NCYL) works to amplify youth power, dismantle racism and other structural inequities, and build just policies, practices, and culture in support of young people. Our efforts advance justice through research, community collaboration, impact litigation, and policy advocacy that fundamentally transforms our nation's approach to education, health, immigration, foster care, and youth justice. Our vision is a world in which every young person thrives and has a full and fair opportunity to achieve the future they envision for themselves.
NCYL’s Immigration Team engages in advocacy to ensure that immigrant children are able to live in communities rather than in government custody and have access to the resources and opportunities they need to heal and thrive. We use a combination of federal litigation, state and federal policy advocacy, stakeholder education, and coalition building to uphold and expand the rights of detained immigrant youth as well as immigrant children in the community.
NCYL seeks a dynamic, passionate, and organized Program Associate or Senior Program Associate to join the Immigration team. This position is a great opportunity for someone who wants to contribute to an active team that uses a diverse set of strategies to uphold and expand the rights of immigrant children.
Note: We are hiring for only one role. You will be assessed for the role which more closely fits your knowledge, skills, and abilities.
