Downing Displays is a leader in the design and fabrication of custom trade show exhibits. We are looking for an Entry Level - Account Executive to join our Elgin, IL office.  The Entry Level - Account Executive will be responsible for selling custom tradeshow exhibits, graphics and services. This position requires consulting with Sales and Marketing professionals in all industries to evaluate their exhibit program and then suggest solutions using our display, graphics and service capabilities. The Entry Level - Account Executive must be able to instill trust in customers by providing creative solutions and meticulous attention to detail.

The responsibilities of the Entry Level - Account Executive include but are not limited to:

·      New Business Development - Prospecting, qualifying, presenting and closing accounts

·      Maintain ongoing communications with existing clients to solidify partnerships

·      Cultivate ongoing communications with companies to develop new partnerships

·      Achieve and maintain sales goals

·      Provide feedback from clients on products and services

·      Overnight travel for client visits and installations is required

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

·      Be a pro - active self - starter with the ability to work independently

·      Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with existing and new clients  

·      Good negotiating skills

·      Solid verbal and written communication skills

·      College degree in Marketing, Communications or Business
