Legal Assistant

Carl V. Angelis, Counselor at Law

Washington, DC

A position, not requiring legal education or experience -- but absolutely requiring a strong interest in the law -- tailored to someone perhaps contemplating law school, who would like to take on an integral role with a small, but very accomplished, interesting, and wide-ranging, law practice. The firm is in immediate need of someone conscientious, adaptable and highly organized, who won't mind doing mundane but important work, yet is capable also of taking on challenging, higher level tasks; someone especially bright, with good judgment and character, a knack for relating to people, a commitment to precision, a willingness and ability to learn, and a high degree of initiative and responsibility. Access to a car is necessary. A minimum nine to twelve month commitment is required.

Please, in your reply, by way of an e-mail message or cover letter, address why this specific opportunity -- entry level but with a high degree of responsibility and exposure -- might be of interest to you, and what you believe you may have to offer. We shall otherwise be left to infer a lack of interest in this position specifically as opposed to legal or office positions generally.
