You should definitely have:
Has completed a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 1 years’ experience in client services, research, marketing or sales support.
Preferably has experience with health data or in a health-related field.
Preferably has high proficiency in Excel, CRM’s and databases.
Has a rich sense of customer service and support.
Ability to juggle multiple projects.
Has strong communication skills and collaboration skills.

The USNWR Hospital Data Insights (HDI) suite of tools is an online analytics platform that provides subscribers access to a rich archive of U.S. News Best Hospitals, Best Regional Hospitals, Best Children's Hospitals rankings data. This B2B offering includes custom visualizations and data sets that are exportable for use in internal analyses and strategic planning. Our subscribers range from small hospitals to large healthcare networks with users working in Quality Assurance, Marketing, and Strategy.
This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong client relations and analytical skills, personal drive, and an entrepreneurial attitude. The successful candidate will be exposed to many parts of the business including marketing, sales, customer support, finance and operations.
The Sales Development Associate, Hospital Data Insights is a unique position at U.S. News that will assist our Hospital Data Insights sales team with driving new business. This position will directly contribute to the success of HDI by researching and setting up quality leads. The Sales Development Associate will be responsible for researching the marketplace for opportunities, maintaining extensive potential client pipelines, providing excellent client service and other tasks deemed integral to the growth of the product.
Research: Generate and qualify leads for new business by continuously researching the marketplace for sources of revenue.
Outreach: Assist marketing and sales in outreach with email campaigns and cold calling.
Educate: Educate potential clients on the HDI Suite of products and services. Fact find prior to the demonstrations and after.
Administration: Set up opportunities, leads and contacts in our CRM and maintain active pipelines for sales and marketing teams. Maintain multiple databases of contacts and leads.
Client Relations: Build and maintain rapport with new and potential clients through exceptional service and attending external events/conference
Achieve Domain Knowledge: Understand both the HDI platform, U.S. News' Best Hospitals data and methodologies, and its market at a deep level.
Business Solutions: Work with the HDI team to build this business. Work with managers to translate feedback from potential clients into product enhancements and business opportunities.
